Saudade

"Saudade" is one of my favorite Portuguese words but it doesn't have a literal translation to any other language. It can be explained as a nostalgic longing to be near to someone or something that is distant.

Ao futuro!

Depois de alguns meses entre vai e não vai, a carta de demissão foi entregue, aceite e despedidas quase feitas. Foi e continuará a ser uma decisão difícil de se tomar, afinal deixar uma vida confortável e estável pela incerteza do futuro é algo que não se comete todos os dias, apesar de acreditar que estou na idade certa para tal decisão, a vontade de começar a estabelecer raízes começa a ser maior do que a vontade para "aventuras". Mas a necessidade de procurar um local que me sinta concretizado, não apenas a nível profissional mas pessoal, é neste preciso momento, muito mais forte do que a vontade de me acomodar a esta vida! A necessidade de continuar a minha formação, a necessidade de conhecer novas mentalidades e vivências levam-me para outros destinos. Para já esse destino será a Bélgica, Depois? Ainda não sei. A vontade de iniciar o meu próprio negocio continua e continuará sempre presente, apesar de ter falhado com o objectivo que me tinha comprometido, objectivo esse que me trouxe aos Açores, o de abrir uma pequena empresa, falhou, com ele descobri como melhorar, aprendi a ser ponderado, a não desistir mas redefinir objectivos. 


Ao futuro.. que se espera mais desafiante, mais próspero e mais feliz!
